1. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and promptly report unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. Community builds and submissions

User-submitted builds begin as Pending Review. BuildFitment may approve, reject, edit, flag, or request more information about a submission. Verification labels describe the evidence available to BuildFitment; they are not a guarantee that the same setup will fit every vehicle.

3. Fitment and safety

Vehicle production differences, alignment, tire construction, load, ride height, wear, and modifications can change clearance. Information on BuildFitment is for comparison and research. Confirm specifications, load ratings, clearances, and installation requirements for your exact vehicle before buying parts or driving. Use a qualified professional when appropriate and follow all manufacturer instructions and laws.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give BuildFitment a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, format, and distribute that content for operating, promoting, and improving the service. You confirm that you own the content or have permission to use it and grant this license.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use BuildFitment to:

• Post illegal, deceptive, abusive, threatening, or infringing content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent a vehicle or setup.
• Upload malware, probe security, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls.
• Scrape or copy the service at a scale that harms BuildFitment or its users.
• Spam users or use community features for unauthorized advertising.

6. Moderation and account action

BuildFitment may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when needed to enforce these terms, protect the community, comply with law, or maintain the service. Moderation history may be retained for safety and accountability.

7. Vehicle and third-party data

Vehicle specifications may come from government sources, third-party providers, manufacturers, administrators, and community members. Data can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Brand names belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.

8. Service availability

BuildFitment may add, change, suspend, or remove features and data. The service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with a specific vehicle.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildFitment and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for vehicle damage, part purchases, installation, injury, data loss, or losses resulting from reliance on website content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
